You are invited TO FIND THE WORDS THAT ARE MISSING
Step into the space between languages and feel what happens when understanding is no longer guaranteed.
FUTURE SPELLS is an intimate live encounter somewhere between performance, ritual and game.
Guided by a script, five guests read aloud stories shared by people who live between languages. You speak from a life that is not your own and notice what changes when another person's words pass through your voice and body.
You may recognise a feeling but not its name, or hear a word without knowing the world inside it. For a moment, you inhabit the hesitation, distance and unexpected possibility of living between languages.
Who do you become when the language around you is not entirely yours?
30 minutes experience for 6 people. No language skills needed. No acting required.
