JE L'AIME

Set inside real apartments throughout London, you’re invited to a new piece of immersive theatre from the creative team behind SOUVENIR

Blue Fondue presents JE L'AIME by Tristan Bernays & Sophie Larsmon

“If a lion could speak, we couldn’t understand him”
(Ludwig Wittgenstein)

You’re invited to Liv and Vic’s tenth wedding anniversary party.

Step into their flat where wine flows, the music plays in from the past and something rich and slow has been working away in the kitchen.

In this intimate immersive experience, you are more than just a guest. Liv needs you to offer a hand with the nibbles, help pour the wine, join in with a rowdy round of Karaoke and maybe hold a secret for a second too long.

JE L’AIME is a plastic universe that bends to the inner lives of two people at a fork in the road – craving different paths and new dreams.  What begins as a familiar dinner party slowly transforms into something else – a sensory, multilingual unraveling – where words carry more than meaning and language itself becomes the third presence in the room.

Can a relationship survive when the language of love is no longer understood?
